Just in case you missed it folks, here's the gameplay footage from id Software's Rage. Now, I am sorry but you'll have to sit through the somewhat annoying observations from G4's Adam Sessler and Kevin Pereira. Now, don't misunderstand me, I really have nothing against these guys. But when it comes to any video game footage, I prefer when questions and any comments are kept to a minimum and just let the viewers judge for themselves. Still, it's all about the marketing now, so I guess they have to pump the hype as much as humanly possible.

As for the footage itself, the framerate looks really smooth. But I won't say much, because the gameplay mechanics seem very similar to most shooters. Okay, it's way too early to know anything for sure. I'll wait for the game to come ou... Oops, they said it's slated to arrive next year. Bugger... That's a long time to wait.
