Fuck that I loved this game. Going to carry fond memories of exploring tropical beaches in the morning sun to some relaxing music.

And at the end of the day, that's the one thing that positively shines in Piranha Bytes games. Their ability to craft an exploration game that feels incredible.

As to the quality of the rest of it, I found Voodoo to be totally underwhelming but the rest of combat to be a well constructed thing with an emphasis on realism. I barely remember what I didn't like about the game, when you're enjoying yourself there's not much room for negative feelings.

I enjoyed Risen 2 too. The 4 negative things I remember the most was the frequent graphical glitches, not able to block when fighting animals, minigames that get boring/annoying after a couple of times and some quests bugging out so you have no clue what to do next except waste time searching everywhere.
