Raven Software's shooter Singularity gets a sizzling new trailer:

According to a recent article published by GameInformer, the new sci-fi shooter features "mind-bending gameplay that not only has the player jumping through time, but using it as a weapon (let's see how well an armed enemy does when he's instantly aged into bones and dust!). Set on a small, unnamed island occupied by the Russians, Cold War tensions raise once again when a U.S. pilot discovers the horrific truth that became of experiments with element E99 in the 1950s."

	Reply This looks very nice, although very familiar in some ways (Half-Life 2 maybe?). Still, that doesn't mean it is a bad thing.

	Reply I'm kinda hoping that they make use of the many objects in a game, not just "Oh look a barrel, the only object that can do something!". I hope they use the havok engine since that seems to be the most effective in that sort of field (determining mass, velocity, etc). The trailer seems to pit the player in WW2? hard to tell but it seems like a cool idea.

	Reply i can see this time tech as the best condom there is. You do your thing - completely unprotected - then return to a time before restorant dinner - so you don't even have to pay the check. FUBAR.

	Reply Yeah, half-life 2 had that gun that fired that energy ball thing that vaporized targets. And the gravity gun was cool, also...a game that's a rather clone of HL2, AKA Time Shift also made use of extensive time powers, and stole much of it's setting, characters and story from half life 2. Honestly, I thought this was gonna be a pretty sweet game, but...now it just sounds like a B-rated 19.99 clearance rack game. Let's hope I'm way off on that.
