Ironclad Games, the makers of the Sins of a Solar Empire, have announced Sins of a Dark Age about a year ago, describing it as a new strategy hybrid focused on team-based “Hero and Commander Strategy” gameplay. You can check out the screenshots here.

Should probably have a little more faith in these days. Sins of a Solar Empire was great.
Really hope those are placeholder graphics for beta purposes, Stone Age is about the right description...
