SOCOM Devs Working on Team-Based Resi Game?

Now here's an interesting little scoop. According to a document (nabbed by
the lads and ladies over at Kotaku)
there seems to be a brand new team-based Resident Evil game currently in development
at Slant Six - the devs behind SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Confrontation for the
PlayStation 3.
There is no additional info on the project at this time, other than the fact that it's team-based and supposedly caries the codename "Resident Evil: Raccoon City."
Well, a nice squad-based SOCOM style Resi game, eh? Doesn't sound too bad. Slant Six also has an imminent announcement for its next project. The developer's official website reads: "amazing new project... with our new publishing partner on a world class franchise."

And DAMN would this be a miracle! I'm so sick of Capcom's style of killing zombies. Standing still to shoot, not being able to strafe or walk backwards; I feel insulted.
If this rumor would be true, maybe Resident Evil can be made as awesome as Resident Evil 4, with better mechanics and more puzzles! Shit. Pisses me off, them Capcom people.
