maybe just maybe some people will have some balls and go visit the place and contemplate some deep shit.
if you ever asked yourself what it would feel to be the last living soul in the world, Prypiat has your answer.
i think i know why the game failed miserably, to be honest it's because you can hardly convey into words the whole thing let alone try and capture it through a game.
But I did love the atmosphere. The rawness of the game reminded me of the old Commodore 64 days where you just had to "figure it out" with no hand holding or quest arrows. Head shot? You is dead. In case you are wondering, the word I'm looking for (and trying not to use) is "hardcore." It just felt old-school hard-core to me.
And it definitely didn't fail miserably.
Weather or not it resembles the real thing is of little importance. For all I care it could be some town called Pelvisville on a planet Catinaurn.
The game was immersing and that's what matters. For me, at least.
As for this, well it doesn't look like much of a improvement after 2 years...
We shall see, then we shall judge.
P.S. It fells kinda of dumb to make 3 games based in pretty much the same place. Doesn't make you feel like experiencing something new.
They never fixed the first game, technically. But that's what you get from an eastern european developer.
I hope this next game will have less technical problems though.
