The news comes via Vgchartz. Preliminary data indicates that LucasArts' Star Wars: The Force Unleashed sold over 1 million units worldwide since its launch on September 16.

Well, that's Star Wars for ya. No matter what reviewers say, the franchise stays strong and continues to ensnare geeks everywhere (and I'm doomed to be one of them for all eternity, it seems).

No further details about these impressive figures were mentioned at this time, other than the fact that a majority of sales were noted on the American market (the Xbox 360 version more than other platforms). No surprises there.

	Reply I've been playing this all weekend, I can see where all the reviews are coming from, however there is something very satisfying about double jumping into the air and flying 20m into an awaiting group of storm troopers and force repulsing the rest of them and if anyone survives hitting them with some lightning. 	Reply I still love Star Wars and always will. As far as gaming goes, Lucas Arts had the best MMO ever made, SWG , and utterly destroyed it, this game seems not to fare any better, too bad.

	Reply This game is AWESOME just Fu*king AWESOME!!! Even though I got the PS 2 version it is still an incredible game. I will buy the PC version when it comes out, and hopefully there will be some additional content with it.
