Star Wars: The Old Republic Launches

Today, BioWare launched its new game, Star Wars: The Old Republic and, as you may have heard already, the hungry gaming masses besieged the new MMORPG. Many people complained that it can take over 2 hours to log in to a game server. Oh well, a common occurrence for any big MMOG launch.

"Today represents an amazing milestone for BioWare, EA and Star Wars fans everywhere and we are confident it has been worth the wait," said Dr. Ray Muzyka, BioWare co-founder.

"The support and resources going into Star Wars: The Old Republic are not ending today. The innovations we're bringing to the category are just the start of a journey and ongoing investment in our players that will grow, evolve and transform based on player feedback over the weeks, months and years ahead."

Just out of curiosity, which class have did you choose, folks? If you're playing, that is.

This game is great. Has its flaws, but I dare say that SWTOR is better than WoW. Already.

I mean, I haven't ever enjoyed leveling up in any MMO, until now.

And I'm Trooper Vanguard, by the way.

I think I'm gonna wait a couple months and let them squash some bugs first. $15 a month is insulting, but if I cut back on my crack habit a little bit it should be ok.

No I wont be playing. I hate MMO's and cant force myself to play one again. This better not be Bioware's future.

The game is ok until around level 15-20, then the true shallowness of it shines thru and it gets bland and boring with too many design-flaws to count.
