The Sims 3 Sells Over 1.4M

The top-selling life simulation franchise from EA just got its official third
installment and apparently it continues to sell like crazy (no surprises there).
Sales of The Sims 3 exceeded
1.4 million units on PC and Mac in the game's first week on shelves, as
confirmed by the publisher.
EA says that the figure represents the strongest PC game launch in the company's history. "We feel like this is a good, time-proven solution that makes it easy for you to play the game without DRM methods that feel overly invasive or leave you concerned about authorization server access in the distant future," the company revealed in a statement.
The reviews that have poured in so far have been positive.

Not too mention most of those who pirate it barely have a grasp on the language they are speaking.

Of course, boning someone has been made super-easy in Sims 3. It took me about 5 minutes of effort to get a random guy from a restaurant (who already had a girlfriend, by the way) into my bed.
Life simulator, my ass.
They don’t complaint about PC gamers. They just gleefully live their virtual lives.
I know some of you will object,
“If you play ‘The Sims’ you are mentally challenged.”
You guys think that PC gamers are some kind of elite intellectuals that hover above every other platform player.
Well guess what?
If being smarter makes you so miserable, then you are not actually that smart.
Okay, I am finished with my ranting.
It’s just sometimes I can’t deal with all of this negative energy!

Ps- I still don’t like the Sims.
It’s about one giant misunderstanding.
It is time to set the record straight.
Even though The Sims looks like a game, it is NOT a game.
It is game-like-time-consuming-mental-masturbation.
Yep, there you have it. You can still go ahead and ‘play’ it, but you are not a gamer (unless you fine with the term gay-merr).
And if you must insist on Sims being a game, fine, but it’s like having a website for classical music lovers where the information on music, covers not only the classical realm, but also mentions rap.
Needless to say, the majority of posters/readers would bitch and whine every time rap was mentioned.
Oh, I’m not against The Sims (it might be a fine thing, indeed), it’s just, there are probably hundreds of other games that I would rather play first.
