I hated it at first too! But i just couldn't hate it for long! :)
Witcher 2 is NOT a true 'PC' RPG as the first one! Its a Console crowd catered RPG!!
Its not your fault really, guys like you haven't seen a real RPG, for you RPGs are like Dragon Age 2 or Fable III which you have given 7.6 and 7.8 respectively.
@ Doomsday
A console crowd catered RPG ? you seriously don't know what you're talking about. A console catered RPG is something like Dragon Age 2 which saw a massive change in everything compared to the first one which was a great RPG.
The Witcher 2 is not filled with COD type clicking, the problem is you are way too much used to COD like clicking that is why you take that approach for all games, the witcher 2 has Bombs, Traps, Potions, Throwing Weapons, Oils, Signs etc at your disposal if you use them correctly you'll realize how fun the combat is.

IMO, The story was better than in any of the recent bioware offerings. My choices could actually change where the vast majority of the second act took place, which is the bulk of the game's content.
Assassin's Creed Easter egg in Witcher 2! Lmao!!
