Today's Controversy: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade PC DRM is Brutal
Jackson "Smapdey" Johns

If you're looking forward to playing Super Street Fighter IV Arcade on the PC, be prepared to be online all the time. Without a constant internet connection and a Games for Windows account, out of the 39 available characters (all unlocked from the start), you will only have access to 15, and other limited features. While they don't outright prevent someone from playing the game, that's still pretty brutal.
People pirated the shit out of Street Fighter IV on the PC, so this is no wonder. PC users in general have to put up with a lot of DRM shit (unless they pirate and give more reason for brutal DRM). At least PlayStation users had the balls to wreck for everyone simply to make an ideological point.

Reply I got SF4 with my video card a while back, and it's not that great, i mean sure it is a fighting game, even with a controller not worth full price. |

Reply Shit like this atleast gives the modding community something to look forward to, people will stick to the existing titles they love (HALF LIFE) and just download free mods to add a bit of spice to the gaming cud they chew. i am a massive mod enthusiast, SMOD TACTICAL! |

Reply In this economy, legit gamers won't buy games with this much DRM. Didn't these guys learn from Assassin's Creed 2? Ubisoft eventually had to back down on their DRM. |
