What's more, I have to say, giving yourself to the Combine is obviously no easy task. You must admire the "work" they've done ;)

i appreciate they tried to make the life of a combine soldier similar to that of a normal and typical authority force member but good grief man, the actor was desperately trying to synch his voice to the recording and how cheesy was the script ?
ps. from what i remember the combine are mindless drones and their actions are that of a swarm really as both action and thought are linked between them acting as a whole.
They lose almost all aspects of humanity, including teability to be indendant. Thus...the whole idea that someone who is a combine (unless otherwise faking it like Barney had been) with his own mind is a bit out there...
