Ubisoft's project "I Am Still Alive" is under wraps, with the developers determined not to let any info or media out the door. Most of us have indeed regarded this as a project long gone. However, some hope remains, as the game has been granted classification in Australia, which is a pretty solid sign that the game is in tact, even though the publisher is refusing the breath a word on the matter.
The game now carries a a 15+ age rating in Kangaroo Land. Jade Raymond has described the title as a survival adventure game, when it was announced via a captivating CG trailer in 2008. The developers promised a unique twist on the survival game genre. The trailer certainly made a fine impression, but alas, we never got to see any gameaplay footage at all.
Recent reports indicated some rather bad news for those who were hoping this will be an awesome high-profile game with engulfing survival elements. In other words, it may not fall under the category of triple-A games (maybe it's better that way...). These reports pointed towards the possibility of Ubi making this a PSN and Xbox Live digital release. Furthermore, Czech site GameZin claimed "Ubisoft does not have much of a degree of confidence" in the game. Ah bugger, that doesn't sound good (if true).

Reply Kangaroo meat, wow. Never thought about it. Must be better than ostrich - which I've also not had, yet. I imagine it compares to turkey how cow compares to pork. |

Reply Shit, crocodile's way out there. But if it's like lobster, I'll pass. The only shellfish I can appreciate - that's the word for that category, right? - is shrimp. |
