The creative folks over at development studio Valve are still contemplating where to go with the next chapter in the Half-Life saga. Half-Life 2: Episode Three is on its way, sure, but at this point, not even Valve knows what's going on in the game. The good news is, they're happy and they're working on it:
"We don't know entirely what's happening in the next episode, but we're gonna figure it out!", a laughing David Speyrer, Episode Two project lead, has told PC Zone magazine.
"There are always things we want to do that we can't because of the constraints of either the story or the arc we've laid out for the gameplay - or just time", he continued in a feature dissecting Valve's Orange Box, part one of which you can read on the site now.
"So we shelve them and carry on. Ideas fly around here quite a bit, so we have this huge laundry list of things to try for the next thing...", Speyrer concluded.
Take your time, guys.
Although, I'm pretty much certain Valve doesn't exactly know what's going on in any of the previous HL2 episodes, like the rest of us.

This post confirms what I've been saying since Half-Life 2's release: Valve has no idea what's going on in there own universe, it's just a bunch of drivel that happens.
"Blah, blah, blah, Mr. Freeman."
Better yet, just decapitate them with your saber. That way we won't have any of that nasty struggling that you get with hangings.
