i'm not sure who you people are who voted for the stale milk franchise rehash titles,

but you should be ashamed.
Un Om Bun: Probably a bunch of cowardly lurkers.

I vote Injustice: Gods Among Us. Only fighting game I played this year on both pc and ps3. Everybody I know, 'gamer' or not, had fun with it.

Metro: Last Light
Because of how much work and sacrifices those guy's made to release a well polished and detailed game.

I hate PayDay 2 for it's repetitiveness but I still think of it as one of the most intense team-play oriented action multiplayer games I've played so far.
Sadly, none of the games this year swept me of my feet. PD2 was close, but not close enough. No vote.

Bioshock Infinite, despite some reservations about the gameplay.
But that list confirms to me what a poor year it's been for great games.

And the winner will be... GTA 5.

They get enough awards. I'm going with blood dragon, funny, fun and well worth the money unlike many other games this year.
Un Om Bun [STAFF] Dec 23 2013, 10:41 am EST
Only Outlast kept me glued to the screen this year. And Blood Dragon is right up there with NOLF as the funniest FPSs ever made.

I didn't play any game that is worthy of the GOTY 2013 title!

I only played SC 2: HoTS and DmC: Devil May Cry.. Currently playing XCOM..

Will vote later..

Everyone please refresh the page. Made some changes after I put up the poll, and it took a while to propagate. So, refresh just in case. Thanks.

Antichamber was the game of the year.
Vader: Ah yes, you see it was an interesting game. Didn't pu…

Beyond lame. Such a mehish year, at least for PC.
The only good game I've played all year is Dark Souls.
CJ_Parker Dec 23 2013, 01:52 pm EST
Ain't played a single fucking game from that list so my vote went to Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch which I'm sure is just as awesome as the title suggests.

Bioshock Infinite is my game of the year. It's excellent from start to finish. Tomb Raider is a close second!
FesterSilently Dec 23 2013, 04:30 pm EST
Hey...shouldn't we ought to separate PC-releases, XBox 360/One-releases and PS3/4-releases from one another?

I mean, aren't some of these exclusives, and therefore can't be considered on the same lists?

I'm not trying to foment any kind of PC/Console flame war or anything, but, I (for example) cannot consider certain games only because I don't have the (exclusive) console to play them on, and that's kinda shitty/unfair for said game, no?

I mean, if I choose *not* to play a particular game for reasons of my own, that's one thing; but if I don't own whichever platform (PC, XBox, PS) and *cannot* make a choice, then that calls for separate lists, no? Or maybe allow for multiple (2-3?) votes?

Just wonderin'.
Vader [STAFF] Dec 23 2013, 04:40 pm EST
Hm, no.
  FesterSilently: Fine, then. :D…
DRAVNT Dec 23 2013, 09:29 pm EST
Wow! I'm still so stuck on the previous years of games and this year was kind of uninteresting when it comes to releases, I've only played one game on this list: Rome 2

AND that game was so frustrating, annoying, anti-fun, anti-progressive, etc., I'd like to give it a negative vote for anything except "Lamest Game of the Year" award.

So......not voting at all. :P
im_stardust Dec 23 2013, 10:20 pm EST
Well, GTA 5 won. I don't wonder.
kreep69 Dec 24 2013, 12:02 am EST
I would have voted for X Rebirth ... and those guys need to hire some of the team from Metro to teach them when a game is considered ready for release.
GrgoljBlaster Dec 24 2013, 03:00 am EST
Bioshock Infinite used to be my game of the year, but then I played Stanley Parable and was delighted. So yeah, 88888888 etc. vote for Stanley.
im_stardust Dec 24 2013, 03:17 am EST
A person who would vote for Stanley Parable, would never consider Bioshock Infinite as GOTY. Hypocrite.
  GrgoljBlaster: Hold me.
FesterSilently Dec 24 2013, 04:16 am EST's fair that I voted for Assassin's Creed IV, via multiple reviews and word-of-mouth; even though I haven't played it myself? :D
Avus Dec 24 2013, 05:26 am EST
I am actually surprised people will choose BF4 - the most buggy AAA title in the history of gaming as game of the year...
