Yes, Diablo 3 Definitely On Consoles Too (Updated)
Filed under: DIABLO 3, BLIZZARD, CONSOLES

Following waves of reports about Blizzard's Diablo 3 making it to consoles, it seems that the development studio finally made a semi-official confirmation.

The news originates from Blizzard Community Manager Micah Whiple’s Twitter feed. When questioned about a potential console edition of the game he replied: “Yup. Josh Mosqueira is lead designer for the Diablo console project.”

So, there you have it. One of the most anticipated games has now been confirmed for consoles too. Meanwhile, don't forget that buying the PC version of the game will involve the privilege of 'Constand Internet Connetion' which is no doubt going to make this an unforgettable experience for gamers. Hm, don't know it this applies to consoles as well...

Anyway, Blizzard still has no official launch date for their action RPG.

UPDATE: Looks like Blizzard Entertainment is not ready to make this official yet.

Starcaft 2 lets you play offline as a guest. There is no reason Blizzard can't do the same thing with Diablo 3. Fuck them, I'm not buying this game!

I'm sure we can thank activision's influence for this, apparently Blizzard wasn't money-grubbing enough. If they do a simultaneous release I'll be pissed, that'll mean they postponed the PC release to develop the console version.

I somehow doubt Activision had much to do with this decision, although I will admit that I could be really, really, really fuckin' wrong. Money = money.

But doesn't Blizzard make enough cha-ching from their WoW player base? I guess maybe Acti-blizzard started brainstorming ways to get some more money.

Either way, Diablo 3 can suck a donkey's chicken. Won't be buying it until gamers find a way around the DRM.
