Players are also bound to have fun with the Lounge feature, next to the already mentioned video editor. The Lounge represents the player's personal skater refuge. Here you'll be able to tweak and set up jumps, rails and anything else you want or have earned during the game. The appearance of the Lounge can also be adjusted by selecting from 10 different themes (gothic, Mayan temple and other different décor styles). The best thing is that you can host games in this personally customized area, so that other players may try it out as well, via Xbox Live, naturally.

Another impressive move by the developers is that the game allows you to stop your single-player game to use your avatar and join a different game on Xbox Live. The system works both ways.

In the end, I asked if there are any plans to release Tony Hawk's Proving Ground on the PC and Activision wasn't able to give me an answer on that. They also didn't specify when the console versions are coming out, so I was given an uncertain release date - Fall 2007.

You can expect the game to be out for 360, PS3 and the Wii. As expected, the gameplay on the Wii will differ given the console's unique controls, but the content should be the same in all versions of the game.

As far as skating goes, this game seems to have it all.
