You also won't have to worry about team diversity. Apart from the usual races, like Elves, Orcs and Humans, the game also includes Lizardmen, Beastmen of Chaos and Goblins.

There's an additional possibility of recruiting star players, which in this case, can come in the form of Ogres or Trolls (as shown on some of the disclosed screenshots).
It's obvious that in terms of overall design, Cyanide remains faithful to the art style and look of the Warhammer franchise. Most of the models appear detailed, although it's still a bit early to judge the game in that respect, since it won't be hitting stores until Q4 2008.
Blood Bowl will also feature a solo campaign mode, in addition to two-player matches. They also hinted support for online play, featuring online tournaments, climbing official ranks and more aspects yet to be unveiled. Customizing teams and individual players is possible in both multiplayer and single-player modes.
With all that on offer, no matter how corny the idea may seem to some people, Blood Bowl actually looks like a fun sports game. It's different and we hope it turns out okay. Provided, of course, the team at Cyanide stays true to its word and delivers all the promised features.

| Haha XFL was a joke. Blood Bowl was a neat tabletop. I enjoyed it at the GW stores. |

| It's great that they included a turn based mode. I'll definitely be picking this one up as I am a whore to all things Games Workshop. It get the bourbon stamp of approval. | ||
