The development team also focused a lot on authenticity. Towns and villages have been reconstructed using actual historical photographs of war-stricken zones from WW II. Consequently, the streets and buildings are accurately portrayed, giving the whole in-game ambiance a distinct feel of 1944, with shattered structures still burning from devastating bomb raids and so on.

Technically, the developers are working hard to polish almost every aspect of the game to make it work and look equally well on all platforms - PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Mind you, they did admit certain visual elements will be scaled down a bit on the X360 and PS3 (Here's hoping it does not affect the PC version - Ed.).

You should also know that Hell's Highway is going to ship in Windows XP and Vista variants. They're still not sure if the Vista edition will support certain advanced Live for Windows features (achievements and the like).

For now, Ubi hasn't revealed much beyond these details. The game is scheduled to arrive for the three aforementioned platforms, some time before the end of 2007. We hope to learn more come the GC at Leipzig.

I think of all 3 WWII FPS, this will be nr.1.

Good one. I got to try Road to Hill 30 one of these days.

The original fucking pissed me off. So fucking what if a german is behind cover; his fucking head isn't and anyone who enjoyed the invulnerability of germans unless you flanked them by +30 degrees is a dumbshit. You don't put invisible walls up to protect enemies from good shots, assholes.

After greatly enjoying the first BiA game (Road to Hill 30), I was pretty disappointed with the second installment. The narrative just didn't seem to have the same potency as the first game (the storyline of which I felt was easily better than any other WWII game I've ever played).

I'll keep an eye on how this third one turns out, but my expectations are lowered this time.
pavarotti: Even so, it's more realistic then CoD or MoH. You stay in co...

This has to be one of my most anticipated games. After watching some videos at E3, I am pumped.

The title of the game do suggest that the folks may have been listening to AC/DC in the development studio or something.
