Call of Duty: United Offensive First Look

The multiplayer is being revamped with two brand new team-based modes; Tank Battle and Domination, where your goals revolve around occupying a set number of significant points on the map. Drivable vehicles in the Tank Battle mode add a complete new flavor to Call of Duty MP matches and should give the whole experience a fine dash of BF 1942 flavor. The multiplayer was also enriched with additional weapons such as bazookas, satchel charges, 88mm flak cannons, etc. Furthermore, the CoD mod community will get its fair share of the new game with a diversity of fresh features added to the game's map editor.

Thanks to the developers' efforts, it looks as though United Forces improves many aspects of the original. This is extremely cool, considering it's a mere expansion pack. Until we get our hands on this one, there's not much we can add. Activision will most likely unveil more at the E3 and as always, we'll keep you informed as to developments. CoD: United Offensive emerged as one of the most anticipated PC war games this year, measuring up to upcoming titles like MoH: Pacific Assault, Men of Valor, Shellshock Nam '67, and Brothers in Arms.
