AT: Any you planning anything new for guilds or crafting?

SD: Guilds will find that their ability to gain standing by taking on quests and jobs on behalf of their city will offer many unique rewards. Artisans have an entire progression path that allows them to specialize in creating many rare and valuable items. You can devote yourself entirely to the crafting process if you so desire and forego adventuring altogether.

AT: Can you think of any other unique features that really make EQ2 stand out from the crowd?

SD: With EverQuest II, it's really about the total package. We have a rich, detailed world full of cool places to go and fun things to do. We have epic battles set in a land of danger and adventure, with wealth and fame ready for the taking. And thanks to our incredible graphics and sound engines, we have a Norrath that is alive with character and dialogue. But ultimately, it's our great story and a compelling game play that will allow us to take this genre to a whole new level.
