Those who appreciate a proper dose of multiplayer goodness will have plenty to experience other than the ordinary split-screen mode. The most appealing multiplayer option is the opportunity to compete against your buddies in head-to-head races. The team-oriented gameplay has an important impact on the multiplayer as much as it does on the single-player ride. Players will most likely get to instruct their teammates during the races through a list of specific commands or by shouting to the mic via the Xbox Live service.
Judging from the media released thus far, Juiced appears to possess enough eye candy to lure any gamer into its traits. Acclaim and Juiced Games focused the game on realistic physics and authentic vehicle damage. Contrary to many showy racers nowadays, Juiced is going to feature a variety of details that'll help create a convincing racing atmosphere. Every car is susceptible to damage. Throughout the course, you'll witness shattered windshields, smashed hoods, scratches paint, dented chassis, and so on. Each time you smash your vehicle up like that, you'll have to invest in repairs to bring the car back on the track in pristine order. We were impressed with how the design team handled the car models. Each vehicle was modeled well and crammed with enough polys to make it look genuine.
We estimate that Acclaim should make a reasonable mark on the scene of street racers. Its visuals may not hold the distinct shininess of NFS: Underground, but its other qualities - the team-oriented gameplay, real-time modding and an advanced damage model - have the potential to catch on throughout the starving gaming masses.
