PROTOTYPE First Look

The crew at Radical Entertainment said they plan to throw in co-op online play in the final version of the game. In this co-op mode, two players may play as a Prototype, as they rush through NYC in an effort to complete the main campaign. Additional co-op powers, exclusive to the co-op mode, were also promised, as well as special moves that players can execute together. (This sounds very cool. - 2Lions)

Prototype is still in early stages of development. The core of the game, however, already seems to vouch for a decent next-gen action-adventure. The abilities of the main character make for some unique gameplay elements. There's a great deal of moves and abilities that are still being considered, but some of them have already been hinted in the game's cinematic trailer.

Okay, the bad news is that the game is scheduled to arrive some time in Q3 2008. But we'll keep you posted on any new info we get.
