» All About Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword on ActionTrip

Experienced online players should be thrilled to know that Ubi made certain revisions in the game's multiplayer code, fine-tuning the interface and AI, and addressing several other issues for online support. Also, in order to achieve realistic audio, Ubi hired an expert team of sound designers (the same blokes that were involved with the sound in Warchowskis' blockbuster, The Matrix).

Superb audio and a tuned version of the R6 engine should be sufficient evidence of a decent expansion pack to one of the world's favorite team-based tactical shooters. Gearing up for their primary project in 2004, Far Cry, Ubi Soft clearly opted to give Rainbow Six a well-deserved polish. As we mentioned before, this expansion pack doesn't bring any radical improvements to the Rainbow Six franchise. Regardless, it's pleasing to know that Rainbow Six 3: Athena Sword brings about overall technical improvements as well as perk ups to the gameplay itself.

Expect the game to arrive on January 13, 2004.

They should of released this a helluva lot earlier, I'm not buying it now, I've lost interest in the series. I really hope they do somthing good with the next game, and not just release 30,000 mission packs for RvS.

It will have problems, but right now I consider Raven Shield to have the best coop play of any game.
