» All About Silverfall on ActionTrip

With the mini-map telling me were to go I quickly got into the addictive game-play. There is something immensely enjoyable about hacking mobs to bits and pieces and getting random treasures as you go along. The loot is abundant and you will get ordinary loot mixed with magic loot.

Overall, I had very few complaints with our preview build of the game, the only major one being the frame-rate. I have 3 gigs of dual memory in my machine, along with a nice graphic card and a 3.0 GHz processor. Not a great machine but not a poor one either. The game chugged along at about 10 frames per second, at times dropping to a complete standstill for up to 10-15 seconds at a time. But this will mostly likely be address before the March release date, so hopefully it ends up being a non-issue.

Everything else looks very good. The cel-shaded graphics look very nice and unique. The game-play is fun. The character development has some depth to it. The quests have a lot of variety to them. Overall it looks like Monte Cristo and Atari have a winner on their hands. Since Blizzard hasn't released anything in a while (no we have not seen ANYTHING from Blizzard lately, have we? -Ed) here is hoping this developer can fill void with a quality Action-RPG. From everything I see, I looks like they are set to do just that.
