» All About Soldiers: Heroes of World War II on ActionTrip

While taking a breather from the single-player action, you'll be given chance to try out deathmatch and co-op multiplayer modes, via LAN and Internet connections. There are still many issues that need to be worked out, but it's safe to say that the game has amazing strategic potential, which should by all means work splendidly in both single-player and multiplayer variants.

Soldiers: Heroes of World War II seems to possess an open-ended gameplay, coupled with a pleasant variety of features that are bound to keep gamers occupied - with 30 unique missions, more than 100 accurately modeled vehicles, and 25 weapons. The game is not set within the confines of a particular genre. Rather, it should prove to be a most welcomed and effective combo of stealth, strategy, and action. Until we receive a playable build of the game, we cannot pass any further judgment. Still, the honest fact is that the game shows considerable potential, even at this early stage of development.

Nice looking engine, looks like a revamped Sage(CnC Generals).

Yeah, it looks awfully detailed for a strategy game. Then again, considering you'll be able to play in third person as well...

I wonder what kind of rig 'Soldiers' will require to run smoothly though...

Prob a beast.. but as pc gamers we have to be able to keep up or shut up(upgrades baby), i'm waiting for some kind of demo for this one.. hopefully it's worthy.
