Things may not always go your way and as a result you're gonna have to resort to other methods of proving your worth. Fist-fights are something that's bound to happen quite often throughout your adventures in Vegas. Whether it's in self-defense or to earn respect, punching may at times be your only option. Expect a wide choice of grabs, special moves and combos at your disposal, as well as an assortment of finishing moves.

Midway decided to set a particular tone in this game. This is Vegas will bring open world gameplay mechanics, parodying casinos and resorts from real-life Vegas. The idea is not to offer too realistic and explicit scenes of violence or sex (damn!). Even so, it's been reported that the publisher and developer of This is Vegas are working closely with the ESRB on whether or not to include nudity in the game. (Pussies. - 2Lions)

The game is expected to arrive some time during Q4 2008 for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms. In addition to all the mentioned features, the usual online goodies were suggested, such as downloadable content (after the game's release), the inclusion of leaderboards, etc. Otherwise, the game focuses strictly around a single-player experience, with no mention of any multiplayer functions.

If you're worried about the game not having juicy moments, you should know that the developers did throw in a few cool elements. For example, at some point in the game, you get to visit a female strip club and for those of you on the kinky side, there's a mission where you get to be a male stripper... the rest is a surprise no doubt.
