| » All About Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines on ActionTrip | |
To cut a long story short, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines has everything in it to satisfy both RPG and FPS devotees. It has enough elements to hold the attention of experienced White Wolf pen-and-paper fans. To top it all off, this game has some of the most gruesome-looking monsters you've ever seen... they're ugly, but in a good way. There's plenty of gore and content, err, of the more adult variety shall we say. Players are able to complete each task in numerous ways and use various skills along the way.
Watching the game in action this year also led us to believe that graphics-wise the game has made huge strides over what was presented last year. The game's still scheduled to launch on October 1, 2004 and I, for one, can't wait to get my hands on it.

| I liked the other Vampire: The Masquerade game a lot so this one might be just as cool, even though its completely different. The other was more of RPGish and this has more of a first and third person approach. It still seems like it has some role playing in it though. I just remember the feeling of the other Vampire: The Masquerade game is was bad ass, and I loved it. I really hope this one can carry it on. | ||

| I loved that other Vampire game, despite some obvious flaws. Among 5 of my favorite RPGs (Fallout 2, Baldur's Gate 2, Fallout, Arcanum, Vampire) three have been made by Troika people (Troika is founded by several key members from BIS' Fallout team) so I have high expectations for this one. Hell, I am buying a new computer for Vampire: Bloodlines. | ||

| Good list DEATH, very good. I'm the same way with KOTOR, havent played it and even though everyone here has been going crazy about it, I doubt I'll ever give it a shot. Bloodlines is in my Top 5! most wanted right now along with STALKER, Fallout 3, Counterstrike SOURCE, and Warhammer 40k. |

| Redemption was actually one of the first 3D RPG - for that matter fully rendered - games I've played, back when 128 Megs of RAM was considered pretty good. Ahhhh... I've been anxiously awaiting Bloodlines from the second I first heard about it. Such a bitch that it'll be released when I'll be away in college with nothing but a laptop with a crappy graphics card and 256 MB of RAM. Gah! |
