AT: What about the physics system? Have you paid any attention to the bullet trajectory, mass-weight-speed; stuff like that...
SZ: As far as physics are concerned I will briefly describe Vital Engine ZL physics system. Each triangle has its own coefficients of resistance and force attached. Each object has its weight, volume, air and surface friction coefficients. Due to these factors, object movements and collision consequences are processed according to real physics principles. One only has to define movement parameters, and the engine will do the rest of the work. The physics library will calculate all the forces affecting an object (up to Archimedean force) and controls it accordingly on a level. Objects can interact: like you can push boxes/crates etc. There is only one requirement to level geometry: sides of each triangle must also be the sides of some other triangles of the level (no sharp edges). There are no other limitations.
As for bullet system physics modeling, each bullet has different velocity depending on the weapon it was fired from. While sniper gun bullets have a speed of approximately 1200 meters per second, shotgun bullets have only 300 mps.

AT: What are some of the other weapons besides the Universal Assault rifle? Will there be like just different models of the Assault rifle, or will you have some different weapons as well?
SZ: Venom demo has only one all-in-one weapon but the final version will include 5 different transforming weapons that get "unlocked" as you progress through the campaign. All of them will have a common weapon - the laser. Laser is a weapon with infinite energy. It is very accurate (even more accurate than sniper gun) but its radius of action is 40 meters only and it takes about 3 seconds to recharge it. It is extremely useful for playing indoor levels or playing "stealthy", as it is the quietest weapon.
