Resident Evil 6 Comments
The creepy atmosphere was always a trademark of the Resident Evil video game series. With every game, the developers managed to create unique situations where the characters had to fend off blood-starved zombies and every situation would be exciting, to say the least...

Thank you Vader. I heard and thought that this would be rather "suckish" and I always wait for your final word before trying a game. I'll be skipping this until it's in the 5 dollar bin at Walmart.
Vader: Believe me, if there's anyone who's disappointed it's…

Looks like the RE games reached the lowest point so far. Just like the last Resident evil movie, it seems they just farted this one out, pumped out the action and left out everything that used to make RE games/movies what they are. Whether it's a filler before the "actual final chapter, we promise!" (last RE movie) or a complete disconnection from the fanbase, they'd better change their course before the next entry. Sadly, looking at the sales, it probably won't happen.

Still, I think I'll try this on Xbox, just because of silly monster names (they used Serbian language to name most of the creeps)

QTEs could only really do well in God of War series, since it was always awesomely brutal and although they happened frequently, they were always fast-paced and, I feel, never slowed the gameplay.
And the narrative taking place on a global scale? Pretty lame.

Don't get me started on those fucking movies.

I played 5 but very briefly. Disliked the inventory mechanics a lot. 4 was and still is considered the last good one because 4 had some chilling moments at least. The QTEs in 4 were annoying but not very common. I still prefer just WATCHING cutscenes instead of worrying that something bad might happen during the game.

5 just had angry chainsaw guy or mc hammer (I think).

Here's for more disappointments for Vader, who apparently doesn't fucking get it.

Let's say we're both in the same school, Vader. I'm the big ugly bully and you are the little 4 eyed squirt, prancing around with a backpack as big as your body but not bigger than your head.

So you pass me one day and I give you mean look. You're not gonna say "what your looking at stinker, you want one in the kisser?", you just gonna get frightened and run away.

The next day, I'll know you'd be frightened, so I'm gonna push it a little forward and maybe slap you over the head or maybe kick you in the ass, spit in your face, stuff like that. And still you won't do nothing, you won't stand for yourself, you won't make a riposte. You're just gonna cry and walk away.

After that, the rest of they days, until school ends, you'll be mocked and beaten by me every day, because you allowed yourself to get in that position.

I tried to make an analogy between this and a responsibility of video game critics and community and how games get crappier witch each passing year. But I figure it applies to mostly everything in society.

Resident Evil's downfall began clearly with Resident Evil 4, which was as arcade as it can possibly be, with puzzles made for toddlers and monkeys and an embarrassingly shitty and ridiculous story that only Capcom can pull.

,,,maybe it would be fun to once in a while, run out ammo and I don't know, maybe run for your fucking life .... or maybe empty a whole clip in a zombie, cause he scared you shitless. I'm not brainstorming here....what the fuck are this people thinking?!

I should go back and review every game I ever reviewed again. Maybe then im_stardust will actually be happy. Or am I foolish to even presume I could ever succeed in making him happy.
Moesha: Good review. Nice job Vader. Going to avoid this one …
zaeb: its her not him.
