As we've reported during last year's E3 "the game puts players right smack in the middle of a conflict between the US and China. You'll be fighting on a fictional island in the Pacific Ocean and from what we've learned it's going to have plenty of wide, open spaces for combat. The developers are, above all, devoted to creating a down-to-earth combat sim and that relates to nearly every aspect of the game, from weapons and vehicles to the environment and characters that traverse through it. They've specified that the game contains 70 different weapons, 50 highly detailed vehicles, while the island itself stretches across 130 square miles of dynamic and meticulously created landscape."
To view the brand new screens from the game head over this way.

| could be in-game, but the big question about this title is whether or not they have bothered to attempt to make the game in any way 'fun' this time around. sure it might be all hell kinds of realistic, but war is not entertaining in the slightest. it is not fun wandering around a lifeless landscape listening to robotic soldiers chatter on endlessly without giving the player any kind of indication of what the hell they are supposed to be doing. i've played the last few flashpoint games and it's always the same horrific AI 'sergeant' nattering on in the worst computer-generated voice all the while things happen around you that you have little to no control over, let alone means to influence the flow of the game. add in the worst ai pathfinding i've seen in a lone time and it's a recipe for BOOORING. i'm all for realism in combat games, but whatever they've done in the flashpoint games is NOT realism. |

| The graphics look nice, pretty photo realistic. I only hope the gameplay stay true to the original, Please don't let it be another call of duty! | ||
