NPD's top 10 best selling US PC games (January 18-24th) clearly show that
The Sims still manage to outperform World of Warcraft and other PC titles. Check it out:
1. The Sims 2 Double Deluxe
2. World Of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
3. Spore
4. The Sims 2 Apartment Life
5. Fallout 3
6. World Of Warcraft: Battle Chest
7. World Of Warcraft
8. Left 4 Dead
9. Civilization IV
10. Call Of Duty: World At War
I'll tell you one thing; the impeding global financial woes shouldn't be much of a bother for Blizzard and EA. Sure, EA's closing a few studios, but as long as The Sims are out there, selling like hot cakes across retailers worldwide, company execs should sleep without any worries (awww, bless 'em).
