2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational
Filed under: BLIZZARD
Blizzard Entertainment, you know those guys who made a teensy-weensy game called World of Warcraft, have announced the company's 4th 2008 Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational, which will be held at the Porte de Versailles Exposition Center, Paris, France, over the 28th and 29th of June 2008. Here are some of the promised activities for the show:

  • Discussion panels with Blizzard Entertainment developers
  • Artist and developer signings
  • Professional eSport tournaments and casual tournaments for attendees
  • Hands-on play with World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and StarCraft II
  • Merchandise and other products based on the Blizzard Entertainment game universes
  • Silent auction
  • Musical performances
  • And more...

Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope that the "And more..." bit includes a new game announcement. What? Yeah, I know it's a long shot, but you never know.

Probably just some local bands in the area. Or some European groups. Who knows?

Another game annoucement? really? they're already working on SC II and WoW: WLK, sooo I dunno really? though blizzard has grown by an order, if not orders of magnitude over the last couple years.
