BioShock PS3 in September?

The PlayStation 3 version of the excellent shooter BioShock is pretty much a rumor at this point. 2K repeatedly denied the existence of a PS3 port of BioShock, albeit reports on the matter just keep resurfacing. In fact, now they're saying that the game could be on the market by September 2008, as seen in a post over at NeoGAF - user "SuperSonic1305" claims that the story comes from the June issue of EGM.

According to the report, BioShock PS3 will include extra DLC content and upgraded visuals. The game is, allegedly, going to be available around the time BioShock 2 will be "shown."

BioShock 2, by the way, has been confirmed for the PC and Xbox 360, while the company still hasn't revealed any plans for bringing the franchise to the PS3.

That's good. Bioshock is such a great game, restricting it's awesomeness is wrong. I say bring it on! Add in a few new things, make us 360/PC purchasers look like a complete ripped-off moron. I don't care.

Whether new content is added or not, it likely won't be anything large enough to warrant a repurchase.

It would be nice to see BioShock on the PlayStation 3 though. That console should have at least one good game. And one day, if Sony fanboys wish real hard, they might actually get one good _exclusive_ game.

So far I'm only attracted to MGS4, which hopefully warrents the bundle of the PS3.

Until then I'm sticking with the 360, Wii, and PC.

gt5 is the only game that interests me for the ps3. I might get one next year..might not

Hearing something about Bioshock got me playing the game over again on hard..Just cause its awesome!!!
