New Art Style for Prince of Persia?

It was only a matter of time. Scans from the latest issue of French gaming mag Joypad have been posted right here (courtesy of pro-gamers.fr), revealing snapshots from Ubi's brand-new Prince of Persia game.
The new so-far-untitled Prince of Persia game appears to feature a brand new art style - it looks as though Ubisoft Montreal is going for a mix of visual styles, offering something between Assassin's Creed and games like XIII (Ubi's comic-style shooter from 2003). Ubisoft officially confirmed a new Prince of Persia game, but did not reveal any in-game screens, videos or teasers of any kind. Still, it could be a matter of days, so sit tight.
The new Prince of Persia web site also received a snazzy new logo. Nothing more than that, I'm afraid.

| All I really want to know is whether or not the article states that the Prince is a new Prince, or the same Prince from the SoT trilogy. But since I don't read dirty French and never will (god willing), I am left vexingly ignorant. |

| What little french I do understand, does indeed points toward a new main character: "un tout nouvel héros" (roughly translated as "a completely new hero") ... then again, they could just be talking about the looks of the prince ... sorry, not much help there I'm afraid. | ||

| the Prince's looks seem as if based on cell shading which are no positive characteristics on my part and i agree on the art as being a bit......unfinished. i hope this will not travel the road Broken Sword took, i consider BS to have ended with the 3rd instalment because the forth was too much of a disappointment for me to ever take into consideration its existence. |
