Portal: Still Alive Not A Sequel
Initial reports on Portal: Still alive were inaccurate. According to a Q&A at GameSetWatch, Valve's Doug Lombardi stresses that Portal: Still Alive is actually a standalone edition of the original Portal game, with extra maps and challenges. It appears that the additional content is basically stuff from the Portal: The Flash Game map pack.

Another bummer is the game won't include the heartwarming voice of GlaDOS. In fact, none of the "story elements" will make it into the extra content. Now, this content should be cool to experience in 3D (after the flash version), although things won't be the same without GlaDOS; that much is certain.

But GlaDOS and the story elements was what made the game so enjoyable.
This will be like eating cake without icing :(

Well...what the fuck.

So...this will be a free download or something? Because, after having been on the warm, wonderful receiving end of Valve's generosity many times, charging for this would be a slap in the face. D:
