Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Neverwinter Nights 2 features a new, extensive single-player game with deep character development and a powerful new toolset that provides players with unprecedented ability to create their own universes, quests and storylines
"Neverwinter Nights 2 has been an incredible game to produce, as we have aimed from the beginning to develop an immersive gaming experience that will satisfy both the RPG and modding communities," said Feargus Urquhart, Obsidian Entertainment's CEO. "Now that Neverwinter Nights 2 has gone gold, we are proud to say we are delivering a game that should exceed fans' expectations.

| What? Oh bugger, I don't have the time to get into a game like this right now. And Dark Messiah will be out real soon too. Argh. Well anyway, it'll be interesting to see how Obsidian delivers this time, and whether or not my stubborn support of them is justified. You know what, I just want Black Isle back. |

| I'm really looking forward to this. I really hope it turns out good. It's probably going to be my only RPG for a while. I found the Dark Messiah demo interesting, but the combat just seemed off. For one thing, the "kick" ability is like god mode. It's way too easy to kill enemies - they should have made you susceptible to being knocked down while kicking or something. Oh well, I guess no game is perfect. | ||

| Here is maybe my last comment . The whole entertaiment industry is a fucking mess, an embarrassment. Music , movies , games , you name it . And not from today , from a couple of years back entertainment means nothing to me. Everything is being done in rush and for the money.Same all stories, same all rythms, same all , same all.Money doesen't mean shit to me. I used to believe that instead of the greed of money , they would invested at least a little passion, but no...it's going to fucking hell. It's been years since i've seen a ray of sunshine...oh...and fuck americanism to.. | ||

| Loved NWN 1 , hope 2 is better... Story had was great but annoying to finish due to length. | ||

| NWN 1's story was terrible. It was blatantly obvious that the single-player campaign was rushed to completion, as shown by the fact that it got more and more generic and uninspired the farther it progressed. Bioware was clearly more concerned with NWN's multiplayer aspect than anything else. That's why I'm looking forward to NWN 2, because it was handed to the Black Isle-esque Obsidian for development, and they're always chiefly concerned with the storyline experience. |
