Major Borderlands Bug, Gearbox Resolving Issue

Believe it or not all three versions of Gearbox Studios' recently released shooter Borderlands seem to suffer from a nasty multiplayer bug.

Players have been complaining about losing their character's progress in multiplayer, as the game completely deletes the characters' action skills and any other abilities gained during the session. Gearbox is reportedly working to fix a number of issues including this one. Here's what one of their tech dudes had to say on the matter:

"Your report has been heard and we're working on it. Unfortunately there isn't a fix just yet, but when one is available we hope to be able to repair as much of your character data as possible."

We've posted our review of Borderlands earlier today.

Online multiplayer only. What's all the fuss about?
Terminator: I hear ya. As long as Single Player works, I don't care abou...

Actually, I've run into other problems with the single player game as well - specifically quest completion triggers... don't. For example, in the tutorial quest the little robot is supposed to, after you defeat the last wave of thugs, take you along to the job board and then the doctor guy calls out to you: the robot goes to to the job board, but nothing else happens; he says nothing, nor does the board activate or the doctor trigger. I had to reload and, therefore, redo the intro.
I also had it happen on another quest later, one of the item collection things that you do in sequence - the item pops on the map, but doesn't appear in the game world. Had to restart it to get it to work.
Vader: holy crap i experienced that as well. daym
Vycka: Yep, had this happen to me too.

People are fussy that's why.

don't care.
won't care....ever.

Borderlands is a....umm...... beautiful is seriously not an appropriate adjective for this because it doesn't suit it even it it would dab itself in make up.

the game is sweet and by sweet i don't mean cool, just perky like a dumb blonde but without the princess attitude.

it's more fun than let's say Fallout 3 which was again nothing more than a grind-fest and a virtual courier game, go there, do that, fetch this, fuck that.

it isn't an RPG but more of a shooter with "skillz" and other retarded ideas.
this is WoW with the latest PoP graphics.
no story, not much in the voice department.

good music though, that i have to admit.

it maybe fun as a 20 minute coffee break LAN game but there's no passion in either genre it pretends to reinvent.

Wow lucky me!
I was playing this game nonstop since yesterday and only encountered i small and totally insignificant bug where i couldn't find part of the combat rifle for some one from the quest board.
