Just in case you didn't know, the demo for Valve's Left 4 Dead 2 is now public.

"The Left 4 Dead 2 demo features gameplay taken from "The Parish" campaign, set in the New Orleans French Quarter. Playable by 1 to 4 players over local or Internet connections, the demo features new melee weapons and all the new boss infected zombies included in the full product."
So, anyone tried this yet? Impressions?
The full game hits PC and Xbox 360 platforms worldwide on November 17.

| I got it and played for 5mins in a laggy match. It...was...okay. The aiming seemed a bit off...but maybe i just have to adjust a few settings. L4D2 won't recreate the magic. It's good but it's not better. | ||

| There's some nice additions but i wouldn't exactly label this is a full fledged game. It feels like an expansion pack and probably should have been labeled as such. It certainly isn't worth $50. I'll wait for a weekend deal. |

| Demo'd it and...well I loved it. Consider I played the shit out of L4D1 for several months...well I think a sequel was due. Most games you don't really get to play as long as I did L4D so...I'm cool with the sequel. It does add a bit to the game. There is a variety of weapons now, between a couple types of assault rifles and other guns, some new grenade-type weapons, and melee weapons (which personally annoys me because we should be able to carry a melee weapon AND A pistol as well as the primary...not lose the secondary, but i suppose I'll live). |
