Darksiders Gold

The post-apocalyptic action adventure Darksiders has gone gold, as confirmed via studio lead environment artist John Pearl. "After all the hard work and long hours these last couple years...Darksiders has gone GOLD," John tweeted (thanks Shack).
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are apparently off to manufacturing, in advance of the retail debut on January 5 (North America) and January 7 (Europe).
As we understand it, THQ, the publisher supporting the project, is also planning a sequel with an expected launch date between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012.
Wow, they're sure keen on milking this one dry.

| When it comes to imagining four horsemen of the apocalypse I can only accept a particularly darkish depiction of such devastating entities. This comic-style art direction doesn't quite fit the picture for me. They need to be so terrible and menacing... dark, sinister, you know. They do not need to look like they've come out of a Blizzard game. If you know what I mean. | ||
