Well goodbye THQ. Your assets are sold as follows-
Relic - purchased by Sega for $26 million
Volition - purchased by Koch Media for $22.3 million
Evolve (IP) - purchased by Take-Two for $11 million
Metro (IP) - purchased by Koch Media for $5.8 million
South Park (IP) - purchased by Ubisoft for $3.2 million
THQ Montreal - purchased by Ubisoft for $2.5 million
Homefront (IP) - purchased by Crytek for $500,000
Nobody wanted Virgil Games the makers of Darksiders so as of now the studio is closed.
Everything else will be given as collateral in there bankruptcy case to there creditors to sell and squabble over.
Oh and welcome new staff members. Just don't become like Kotaku or Escapistmagazine. You can't even read there webpages anymore.
Hmm maybe a new color theme would be good though.

Shame about THQ, just glad to see that the majority of their assets weren't absorbed into one of the super devs and at least have a fighting chance of retaining the identity in the future.
On the other hand... Sega has Relic? Oooh
I'm also glad that the Metro IP actually has a publisher... I want to see Metro Last Light this year.
