So I didn't care for the first one so why should I care for the sequel. Kinda reminds me of an article I read called I hate what you love on destructoid.
If you liked the first game then good. Just remember you will get more of the same with more dlc and origin will of course be required.

So it's a poor bet to suggest they'll just trot out exactly the same gameplay as the first game for the sequel.
Objectively, that would simply be out of character for them, just doesn't fit with the profile their resume establishes.
