To our surprise, BC has a good multiplayer component on offer, albeit we were sad when we realized players cannot throw objects at each other like Spencer does in solo play. Nonetheless, the maps are designed to fit the gameplay mechanics and you'll be able to try out Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and CTF modes.
Bionic Commando has some visually impressive environments, great animation, Capcom's trademark impressively directed boss fights (but alas too few bosses are in the game), coupled with excellent sound effects and a kick-ass soundtrack.
We regret the developers didn't devote more attention to this game. The gameplay is flawed, though it does have some potential and relatively entertaining combat.
Swinging through the levels results in frequent and frustrating deaths, as the player hastily searches for nearby objects to grab hold of. This forces you to repeat a good portion of an area, which you've cleared once already. The whole thing basically requires additional work, balancing and overall improvements.

ACTIONTRIP SCORE 5.4 Okay Another great-looking game from Capcom, first-rate sound effects, awesome music, enjoyable multiplayer, interesting combos; The story sucks, the fun frequently turns into aggravation, swinging mechanics don't work too well, restrictive and inconsistent gameplay, coming from Capcom we expected better boss fights (and more of them).
