The Bourne Conspiracy has its good moments. Even so, if you complete the entire game, which doesn't take too long to do, you'll find little to entertain you further (Achievements? No?).
In some aspects it stays true to the movies and the trademark kick-ass combat, so if you've enjoyed that in the flicks you should have a good time with the game. I'd recommend you try it out, at least for its cool hand-to-hand brawls and the generally compelling atmosphere. Whether you're smashing someone's head into a neon marquee or drowning them in the kitchen sink, the game should be fun.
As movie-based titles go this one doesn't fall into the depths of mediocrity, although it doesn't make a major impact either. All it does is create a temporarily engaging experience thanks to the adrenaline-pumping hand-to-hand combat. Be that as it may, Bourne Conspiracy is a game you'll probably keep playing until you become fed up with the shooting segments (and let's not forget that lousy car chase).

ACTIONTRIP SCORE 7.4 Good Exciting environment-based hand-to-hand combat, challenging boss fights, thumbs-up for the audio and the generally compelling atmosphere; Frustrating shoot-outs, one awful car-chasing sequence, little to no replay value, shortish single-player campaign. RATINGS GUIDE |
