» All About Delta Force: Black Hawk Down - Team Sabre on ActionTrip

The end result looked something like this; they all ended up standing around and looking left and right, but they obviously couldn't see me. So I got down from the watchtower and witnessed an amazingly silly scene. About 20 or so assailants were standing in groups of three to five and just looking around completely oblivious to my presence. I could've just left them there, but I mowed them all down just for the hell of it. Again, were these not clear signs that the Columbian thugs were sampling a little too much of their own merchandise?

Even despite some of its abovementioned embarrassing moments, one shouldn't lose perspective about the quality of the Team Sabre add-on. The designers did manage to expand the gameplay both in terms of its visual appearance and atmosphere. Delta Force: BHD - Team Sabre features some intense moments of solid and fun gameplay. I should reiterate. When it works, it works really well and it's a better game than the original. Unfortunately, the expansion doesn't work well all the time. In addition to that, its single-player facet is not particularly lengthy even if it is a bit harder and has lengthier missions than the original. Seeing how this is not a stand-alone expansion pack, I don't see any particular reason why casual gamers who are not military shooter buffs should grab it. Those of you who like war games will find it to be a fairly enjoyable Delta Force variant of Call of Duty albeit with shoddy AI and occasionally goofy scripted events.
