Bugs were also exhibited when friendly NPCs started jamming both in indoor and outdoor areas. Similar things happened with the enemy AI. Another irritating aspect is that enemies sometime won't go down, even when you've emptied an entire ammo clip directly into their face (hm, maybe it's them new, invisible bullet-proof vests that protect the face as well).
Surprisingly enough, this game has an interesting and entertaining multiplayer with modes such as Team Deathmatch, Demolition Assault, Fire Starter and Safecracker. In this day and age, it's really hard to find an original multiplayer concept and The Godfather II has proved its worth in that department. With the exception of Team DM, all other modes feel unique and are fun to play.
We've finished the single-player and spent many hours with the multiplayer. All in all, nothing in this game will make you overlook its numerous technical glitches and design flaws. Half way through the main campaign and you're sure to be bored out of your skull, thanks to the repetitive mission structure. You'll also notice that most of the elements in this game are just incomplete, especially when it comes to visuals. The story serves its purpose, but that's just not enough to entangle most players. Many of the characters appear lifeless, while the plot remains relatively predictable and not nearly as interesting as in, say, GTA IV. Fair enough, the strategic aspect of gameplay and fighting over territory is always cool and the multiplayer is enjoyable. You decide if that's worth your time and money. Not in my book.
EA had a chance to deliver a really cool game and to improve upon the sequel. They seemed to have failed on both fronts.
Oh and did I mention there are topless chicks in this game? No? Well, there are topless chicks in the game.

ACTIONTRIP SCORE 5.8 Okay Give it a chance and it can turn into an okay action game provided you can forgive the absence of iconic characters like Michael Corleone, upgrading your family members is fun, weapon variety, watching pixelated topless chicks; Serious technical problems, graphics are behind the times, relies too heavily on recurring gameplay mechanics, needs better characterization, weird AI behavior.
