![]() | Modern Warfare 2 Sells A Bajillion Copies Nov. 16, 2009 |
![]() 7.6 Good New influence and want/fear system; new items, careers, and interactions; relatively wide choice of subjects for declaring a major; the Greek house system (fraternities/sororities); the streaking; While some features reflect the students' life accurately, the general atmosphere makes the experience rather childish and not very varied, as there are simply not enough elements from the college life; you can't see your sims at the university. Steve: That boy is destined to be a senator. God bless him; always eager for a rough shag.
John: Yes, Steve. My son, Bob, is gay.
Steve: I hate gay people.
John: But dude, everything you said....
Steve: I was just kidding.
John: Oh...
Steve: Yeah, I hate gay people. How dare you think I would do any of the things I suggested? I was only testing you.
John: Oh, OK.
Steve: Deviant.
John: Right.
Steve: You were turned on.
John: For god's sake shut the hell up! Only two days after I found out Bob was gay, he came home from the class and Gunnar passed him by on the corridor. Before I realized what was going on, my son was holding that tattooed kid in his arms and telling him sweet words.
Steve: No!
John: Oh, yes. And after that, he kissed him and they started making out.
Steve: And you watched all that?
John: Well, what else could I do?
Steve: What a fairy. You know, it's entirely your fault your kid turned out to be gay.
John: What makes you think so?
Steve: Well, you raised him, didn't you? And I always knew you played for both teams. I'm telling you man, I can't be friends with you anymore. This entire conversation has more latent homosexual references than Top Gun. It's as if I am driven by some divine force to think about cock all the time.
John: For God's sake, shut up!
Steve: Yes, I know what you mean.
John: Look my point is that in the game, you are supposed to take your college assignments quite seriously, yet you never get the right feel about the university nor experience the right sort of atmosphere. But at least you get to enjoy all of the things that made the original fun.
Steve: The new items aren't very useful, with the exception of cell phones and arcade games.
John: Still, it's nice that you can create a new Sim and send him off to school. So you really never did any of the things you suggested during this conversation?
Steve: I don't know; that was a long time ago. We were all just crazy kids. To some 'crazy' is playing in a rock band, and to others it's getting an A+ for a job well done.
John: For studying hard?
Steve: Of course, what else, you sick fuck!
