There are no physics that you can really see apart from gravity and rag doll from when Spidey gets hit by a train, car, helicopter, missile or thug, or when he happens kill a thug or hang them from a light post.

There are a lot of extras here, there's a couple hundred little bonus tokens for finding skyscrapers, secrets, buoys and hideouts, and they give you plenty of reasons to explore, as well as three hundred challenges (races) and mega challenges (the same race with less time), but doing all of them seems asinine, especially after beating the story mode and really just doing the same thing again and again and again anymore.

On a special note and this is a spoiler, but if you've seen the movie, you already saw this coming, the second to last mission has you turning off Doctor Octopus' giant fusion thing while Doc Ock attempts to kill you and the fusion reactor also attempts to kill you. I kid you not. This isn't fun, this is a pain in the ass, and it takes place on a building in the water, with no floor at one point, and if you fall in the water, you fail. Oh, and you can't hurt Doc Ock because the fusion reactor gives him a shield for some reason. This is a perfect example of what not to do in a mission because it pissed me (and anyone else I've talked to that has played it) off. It also ruins all since of immersion because you realize that you're not Spiderman because this would be a whole lot easier if you actually were.

In closing, I would like to say that the game is acceptable for the most part; I only recently started using the advanced moves after beating the game, and having the whole city to play in is a lot of fun. Unfortunately, you really only beat up thugs in the same manner most of the time, the story missions that has to do with the movie are appalling, and the whole thing seems like it could have been a lot better. This isn't to say that it isn't a good game; it just isn't a great game. It is also short as well, doing the story mode and what-not at even a relaxed pace, not racing through and spending a lot of time just swinging in the city, I was able to complete it in 12 hours. It can get frustrating as well, but all in all, it is a pretty fun game, just a tad bit unpolished and doesn't live up to its full potential.

HIGHS
A whole big city to run around in, Spidey powers, RPG stuff, lots to do, Black Cat has huge knockers;

LOWS
Repetitive, terrible voice acting and bad tie-in missions, repetitive, a lot of things you won't bother with, isn't all that it could be, and repetitive.
