There are a lot of things we can learn from 2012. For example, the fact that we don't need that many sequels. In fact, there should be a law that forbids the release of any sequel or reboot for a year or two. It would be cool to see what developers would come up with. 2012 - Roland Emmerich's latest end-of-the-world bonanza. Watched the damn thing a few days ago. Bloody hell, what possessed me to do that? Well, just let me recap for a sec. I did enjoy The Day After Tomorrow and most of Emmerich's mindless blockbuster movies (always remember to leave the brain out the door for those), but this is a bit different...

Next year's summer blockbuster lineup includes 2012. Now, I'm definitely a sucker for disaster movies and nobody does them better than Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow, etc.). Sure enough, they're always cheesy, but which Hollywood movie isn't? These days it's all about the special effects anyway and I sure as hell enjoyed the 2012 brief teaser trailer. Global warming, baby! The ultimate source of entertainment.
