Evidently, it's happening folks. As promised, BioWare just Mass Effect 3: Extended
Cut, which is actually DLC "that will expand upon the events" of the
company's recently released third installment in the popular space sage. More
cinematic sequences were mentioned, in addition to epilogue scenes...

The folks over at development studio BioWare have revealed
some details about the DRM for the PC edition of Mass Effect 3, which is
slated to arrive early next month.
Word is that the third installment in the popular sci-fi series utilizes a
one-time online activation, after which there's an unlimited number of installs...

Just in case you missed yesterday's
news, BioWare released a playable demo for their highly anticipated shooter
Mass Effect 3 (What? It's a shooter!). The 1.7GB demo a brief segment of the
single-player campaign and, of course, a sample of the game's new-fangled mutliplayer
mode, the access to which is granted to players who have activated their Battlefield
3 online pass...

promised, BioWare releases a demo for Mass Effect 3 via Xbox Live, giving
gamers a chance to try out two singe-player missions. You'll also get early
access to the game's multiplayer mode (providing you own an online pass from
Battlefield 3)...

Casey Hudson from BioWare informs us that the development studio's latest addition
to the Mass Effect series has now gone gold, which, in case you didn't already
know, means that the game is going into mass production to make its officially
scheduled release date (that's March 6 in the US and March 8 in Europe)...

It's already starting, thanks to Bethesda. Having witnessed Skyrim's success and realizing that gamers still crave traditional single-player RPGs, EA and BioWare are now turning their gaze back towards the older model. Just for a few seconds, it seems, they've managed to look away from the online market and multiplayer market (don't blame 'em, really; that's where the money's at)...

Today, BioWare launched its new game, Star
Wars: The Old Republic and, as you may have heard already, the hungry gaming masses besieged
the new MMORPG. Many people complained that it can take over 2 hours to
log in to a game server. Oh well, a common occurrence for any big MMOG launch...
